What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I like sharing my knowledge and helping others achieve their goals. I enjoy assisting students with their work and knowing that they fully understand the concepts. I also like learning new things, and when I assist others I learn new ways to do things and gather new information.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I understand what it is to learn new concepts and content, and realise that it takes a great deal of time and effort. I am very appreciative of the guidance afforded to me throughout school and I believe I have the patience and the interpersonal skills of my mentors, which I can now use to help others understand their work.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I believe that tutors need to help students feel confident in their ability. When a student feels more confident in their work they will be able to see more clearly their potential and this will help them perform better in their assessments. Tutors need to be supportive of students and encourage them to work hard, not do all their work for them. They need to teach students effective and efficient study habits, which they can use throughout their schooling years.

Testimonials 🏆

Demi was very comfortable with Alex which was wonderful as she can become quite anxious.
