What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy witnessing a student overcome their own inhibitions and actively pursue learning for the sake of developing themselves into more capable individuals. I enjoy seeing the excitement on their face when they figure out how to do an equation they could not solve in class without sufficient one-to-one consultation. Most of all I enjoy seeing another individual better off today than they were yesterday because they have acquired timeless knowledge and life-long skills.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I think my creativity, adaptability and dedication to learning new things are strengths for me as a tutor. I am always absorbing information in a different way to my peers because of my rigorous methods of breaking concepts down. I always seek to understand how equations are derived rather than simply memorise them. This has enabled me to solve complex problems in school and even throughout my degree in Architecture. As a visual learner, I have always enjoyed analysing challenges in great detail and explaining them to my classmates who were constantly seeking my help.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I consider the most important thing a tutor can do for a student is to encourage them to have a greater willingness to learn. A tutor should foster a student to have the confidence to actively solve problems through their own volition. I believe continuous growth can be achieved by an empowered student, motivated by their innate potential to succeed.
