I think that I am patient and if a student needs to go over a topic even 10 times I would be as helpful as I can be. Patience is a great asset especially with younger students. The most important thing a tutor can do for a student is to assure them that being able to understand and improve in math is not impossible for them. Encouraging the students at every step of the way is extremely important to help build their confidence and this is something that many students do not get at school. A tutor should also help build the students understanding on fundamental concepts of math rather than just helping them solve a question.
