What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I enjoy the moment when students conquered the questions they could not work out, especially the one which they complained they would never be able to do it.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
As a tutor, my strength is always showing patience to my students. There are some students very struggling with maths but it doesn't mean that they could never be good at it. They just need time and more practice. Therefore, as a tutor it is my obligation to guide them with patience. More importantly, I am faithful to my students that they would finally be good at the maths questions no matter how struggled they were before.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
The most important thing as a tutor is to guide the students think positively. I was influenced by my high school maths teacher so much and even now I remember what he said to the class, "all maths is easy, none of these are hard" and "practice makes progress". The encouragement from my maths teacher motivated me to have faith on myself that I could be good at maths. Similarly, as a tutor I should help students to put confidence on themselves that they would understand maths and never give up.
