What do I enjoy most about tutoring? ๐
Tutoring is a rewarding experience as when you are teaching someone else you are also enriching your own understanding of your topic as you are forced to learn more in order to become a better tutor. It is also great to see a student gain confidence in their own ability because they have worker hard towards their own goal. This is because tutoring is their to maximise a students potential.My Strengths as Tutor ๐ช
Flexible: I am willing to make different arrangements for each student to maximise their learning potential. I am also willing to focus more on the areas in which they are lacking rather than repeating the same information to each students. I also work at Pre-uni and have previous 1-1 tutoring experience. OC and Selective: I have sat scholarship, opportunity classes and selective school tests and will also be able to help students who are aiming to getting into such schools.Most important things I can do for a student ๐
Maintaining open communication with the student so gaps in their knowledge can be identified and closed so their understanding of the subject matter is clear. This is because in the HSC multiple syllabus dot points are often combined to form long responses, the lack of understanding in one area can result in the significant loss of marks. Giving the student sufficient resources to practice their work with is important.
