What do I enjoy most about tutoring? π
In the profession of tutoring itβs important for the tutor to have passion for the subject and to impart the same to the student . In one of my recent tutoring experience with students of VCE maths, the student had the calibre to understand the fundamentals but lacked a genuine interest in the subject. I enjoyed explaining the fundamentals with some intriguing examples which aroused lot of zeal in the student for the subject. This resulted in a much better outlook of the student towards the subject and increased his efficiency and improving average score by 10%My Strengths as Tutor πͺ
I always try to adapt and change my style with the individual student as I have experienced that every student has different level of understanding and also work at a different pace. I get connected with the students as I always start on a positive note and with words of encouragement irrespective of the current level and performance of the student. The correction and feedback from my end comes at a later stage once a rapport has been established with the student. I have the ability to make the subject interesting by quoting simple and practical examples which are easily understood .Most important things I can do for a student π
