For a tutor most important thing is to be patient and make all the students feel comfortable. i am a very patient person which I believe is needed when you are tutoring. A tutor always have to do everything for a student to make him/her achieve their goals by being very patient and can communicate well with the students and their parents, try to find what the students lacks in and try to help in those areas. I know it might sound dramatic but a tutor could make a student what they will be in the near future a good or a bad person.
