What do I enjoy most about tutoring? ๐
I love seeing students build up their confidence while learning new skills and it gives me satisfaction and a sense of achievement seeing a smile on their face at the same time. The best thing I like about tutoring is that I get to share my knowledge and share quality time with them.
My Strengths as Tutor ๐ช
I am easy to get along with, I use strategies that are easier for students to understand such as diagrams and examples that fit their own context. I have patience with teaching so that students can work at their own pace without feeling rushed. I use easy to understand and relatable examples. I believe in two-way communication. I am reliable, organised, able to work independently and punctual.
Most important things I can do for a student ๐
Provide strategies that are directed towards an individual's learning style, for example, using a technique so that the student can engage in the learning process and achieve results to the best of their ability. The other most important thing to consider as a tutor is to become more approachable and open to students so that they feel comfortable with discussing the areas they have difficulties with or otherwise. I believe everyone has something special to share with.
