What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I think the most enjoyable part is to find ways to explain something in such simple words that anyone can understand. The process itself is very interesting as you have to dig deep into the core of the problems and carefully choose the right words to explain it. It would also change the mindset of the students that things are not as hard as they seem and therefore, students will gradually gain more confidence when facing new problems or concepts.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

Firstly, I think that I have a strong background evidenced by my academic transcripts. Secondly, I am patient and flexible. I would keep on finding different ways to explain one problem until the student gets the full picture. Thirdly, I am open. I would love to hear what the students think about the problems because it would give me insights into where the students are stuck at. Finally, I just enjoy it very much. I had very high marks so my friends usually come to me and ask questions. I found myself so happy when I am able to help them understand something and feeling their gratitude towards me

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I think the most important thing a tutor can do for students is to teach them how to learn by themselves. I used to have a math tutor and he showed me how he approached problems, not just simply solved them and gave the answers. If I just give the students this knowledge, that would be the only thing they know. If I give them the tools and techniques to learn, they would expand their knowledge significantly. When the stutdents do not need a tutor anymore, that is when the tutor has done a good job.
