What do I enjoy most about tutoring? ๐
The ability to help and motivate students on their academic journeys as well as see them grow in confidence towards their work is one of the many things I highly enjoy about tutoring as it gives a sense of work satisfaction. Furthermore, being able to create an alternate interesting and comfortable environment for the student to thrive in their studies and asks questions unlike school where they may be possibly to shy to speak up is another aspect of tutoring that is held close to my heart as I can empathise with where the student is coming from.
My Strengths as Tutor ๐ช
Aside from my high command of the English language to enable thorough and comprehensive delivery of academic content to my students as well as an elevated level of knowledge of the NSW syllabus, the tips I have accumulated for promoting study efficiency and empathy, having been in their positions only a few years back, towards students are definitely my noteworthy strengths as a tutor. It is my comprehensive knowledge of the syllabus and content as well as empathetic but coherent method of delivery that differentiates me as a tutor from other applicants.
Most important things I can do for a student ๐
I strongly believe the most basic yet crucial thing a tutor can do for their students is being accessible and flexible to the unique needs of the student. Needless to say, a delivery manner that is dynamic yet effective for the individual student's need is important, however, the difference between a teacher and a tutor lies in their accessibility. To be accessible in both time and knowledge so that whenever the student runs into a wall, they immediately have a tutor to guide them to fix their problems and increase their confidence is a skill that holds great importance to a tutor.
