What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I enjoy tutoring because I can build up students' confidence and share my past experience with them in order for them to get the results they want. As a tutor, any of student's improvement or success will bring me happiness. In addition, I believe tutoring others is another way to make friends, "Teaching others is the best way to learn", which will be the main method I would be using when tutoring so I will be able to find out their weakness in time, which allows the student to fully understand the concept.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
Maths is one of my academic strength as I have received a 100 raw mark in Maths Extension 1 and 94 in Maths Extension 2 in 2017 HSC. I am very patient when teaching, as different students have the different comprehension of certain concepts, I am able to explain in another easy to them. I am friendly and easy to communicate with, if students have any questions about the subjects, I am always enthusiastic to help them. I studied at James Ruse Agricultural H.S. from year 9 to year 12, 4-year studied allowed me to learn the different study skills and exam strategies from many other scholars, which I am able to teach my student for them to improve. As a recent high school graduate, I am familiar with the syllabus and understand the common mistakes that students would make.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I would say the most important things for me as a tutor is to support the students and provide them with past experience in terms of exam strategies and study skills and help them gain confidence in the subject. I will make sure their students fully understand the concepts instead of memorizing them.
