What do I enjoy most about tutoring? π
The opportunity to mentor the talent of the future. Through tutoring you can meet some really bright and lovely youths - itβs really inspiring and exciting to spend one-on-one time with them and know that you are assisting them to achieve great things in the future. It is awesome not only to help them do better in their studies, but also to impart some of your hard-earned life lessons to them.
My Strengths as Tutor πͺ
1. Being able to quickly build rapport
I am able to quickly make the student feel comfortable with spending time one-on-one with me. Subsequently they enjoy their lessons with me, and look forward to future tutoring sessions.
---
2. Being an excellent listener
I listen closely to their academic problems and am able to uncover the real issues troubling them. In this way I can formulate a customised approach for every student, thereby enabling me to provide more value than their school teacher often can with an unpersonalised, classroom-wide approach.
Most important things I can do for a student π
To build the student's confidence in their own abilities, and familiarise them with the idea that with hard work and the right attitude, they can achieve almost anything they set their mind to. This is crucial because it maximises personal success not only in their studies, but also in their future endeavours.
