What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I am very passionate about helping and giving back to others and the community. I find tutoring enjoyable because it allows me to assist a student in understanding and attaining a new skill. Helping students in overcoming challenges, learning and succeeding gives me great happiness. Through the process of tutoring and teaching multiple concepts, I also expand my knowledge in that particular area. Furthermore by engaging with and forming a relationship with the student, one attains better communication and interpersonal skills.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

One of my strengths is my ability to explain certain ideas in different ways. For example I am able to utilise multiple examples such as those from the real world in order to illustrate a certain mathematical concept. This is essential as it is important that the student fully understands what they are learning in order to attain a firm grasp in that areas. I also have good problem solving skills, which allow me to complete multiple tasks quickly and with precision. Furthermore my strong communication skills allow me to effectively engage with students and assist them in the learning process.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

An important facet of being a tutor is to be able to explain a particular concept effectively so that a student can understand it. This understanding is of utmost importance as it ensures that the student can correctly answer questions and also retain that mathematical concept in their memory. A tutor must create a relaxed and non-judgmental atmosphere for a student so that they do not feel embarrassed or intimidated and are motivated to learn new ideas and not be afraid of making mistakes or errors in the process.
