What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I find tutoring students that are struggling in maths and watching their interest mathematics grow as they start to understand the concept that they never thought they would very rewarding.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I think my biggest strength as a tutor is that I struggled a lot in primary and early high school due to being Dyslexic. Because of this, I am very good at splitting what appears to be a daunting problem for a student into small manageable tasks, that they can feel confident in solving. From personal experience, I know what poor tutoring feels like and I am very good at teaching every student differently.
I can also relate to the frustration that student might be going through when they are struggling to keep up with their peers.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I think the most important thing they can do is listen to the student, each student wants something different out of there tutoring experience.
I think the most important thing you can teach the student is how to learn, how to find answers to problems when there is no one there to help them, as this will help them be successful in any later studies they pursue.
