What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I have always been interested in helping others with their studies. This is especially the case in maths where I am eager to help someone who is struggling to solve an equation or something similar. I feel satisfied and glad that the person is understanding how to work out a solution and get that 'light bulb moment'.My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I feel I can break down a maths problem into smaller parts well and explain how each part can come back together to form a solution.This was a strength when I helped others with maths problems in school and hoping to apply this as a tutor.Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
Show to a student that maths does not need to be a daunting subject and that with enough work, they can become proficient in solving maths problems. I feel many students don't understand because they are overwhelmed and do not know where to start. Getting past these hurdles and then getting into a routine of solving similar problems will help the student go from strength to strength. With the confidence there, then I feel a tutor can then teach the student better ways of solving problems and show alternative or quicker ways to a solution.Tutoring students in 👦 👧
