What do I enjoy most about tutoring? π
I love working with children, because although tutor is a job, it does not bring much pressure of being supervised and shouted at by the manager. I enjoy flexible classes, which is personalized depending on students' ability. However, the key thing is that I am thrilled to give assistance to children in their study and see their improvement.
My Strengths as Tutor πͺ
Firstly, I am patient, thus I can help those students who are lack of confidence in their academic ability and need to reinforce the basis. Secondly, I have experienced the education in two different countries with cultural differences, so I am able to find the most appropriate method for my student. Lastly, I am available on several evenings and some mornings/afternoon during the week.
Most important things I can do for a student π
To my point of view, there are two most important thing that a tutor needs to do for a student. The first one is knowledge, because it it more useful if the tutor explains the problems and give only suggestions, directions to the student rather than just simply provide the student with the answer. That question will not appear exactly the same in the exams. Another thing is confidence, which results from improvement from the academic performance of that student. Once the student has truly understood the concepts and known the steps to solve a problem, the student will not be afraid of maths.
