What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I found the academic support process to be extremely rewarding and worthwhile. One aspect I enjoyed most was that through tutoring, I was able to strengthen my understanding of key concepts after having explained them to students in different ways. Another aspect I enjoy is the bonds you build with your students, being very similar to a GP's role in providing continuity of care. Being a tutor is most rewarding when, after consistent practice and motivation, your students display considerable improvement in their work. I'm a very capable listener. If students are having problems, I won't jump in and make assumptions about their weak areas. I'll let them show me exactly where they are going wrong and then I'm able to identify where they need help. I also like to make sure that a student masters his way past a difficult problem through consistent practice. If the correct way is shown or practiced only once, then it is highly likely that the student will forget that proper process and revert to their original errors.Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
The important thing that a tutor can provide for a student is a relaxed learning environment.
