What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy being able to help students fulfil their potential. In my tutoring experience, students can find maths really rewarding and fulfilling once they understand the core concepts. This often requires lessons planned specifically to each pupil so they can understand the steps they personally struggle with. I find helping students tackle these steps, and then progress, very rewarding as a tutor.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I feel that my experience has taught me to really understand each students' thought process. Sometimes it is hard for the student to express which area they are struggling with or what step they don't understand. However, running through problems with them can help isolate where they are going wrong or which part they don't understand. I think I am good at isolating an individual's issues and then tackling them.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I believe having a tutor who presents work in a manageable and stepwise manner is key. many students are embarrassed to admit when they don't understand concepts they may think are simple, or are intimidated by the seeming difficulty of some of the work. Presenting the problems as manageable and breaking them down helps the student gain your trust and allows them to feel free to ask for things they don't fully understand to be explained.
