What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
So far, I have only been at the receiving end of tutoring. While it taught me the content in an engaging and fun manner, the most satisfactory thing about tutoring was that it helped me gain confidence and proficiency in applying my knowledge. The satisfaction of being able to handle exams confidently was addictive, and drove me to enjoy learning to the point that I became a more motivated and self-directed learner.My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I believe I have the strong academic foundation and good communication skills necessary to teaching others proficiently and clearly. I also think I am able to put myself in the shoes of the students who may be struggling and, as a consequence, unable to motivate themselves with their work as they do not enjoy it. I hope that this will place me in a better position to help them make learning a lot more fun.Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
Aside from teaching the content in an understandable and logical manner, I also think that a tutor should try to inspire a student to become a self-directed and motivated learner. Such a transformation creates the best performing students because they no longer overly rely on the tutelage of others. Rather, they learn to handle a variety of academic situations on their own because they are able to teach themselves. "Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day.
