What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I love interacting with students and assist them to understand the concepts that they find difficult to grasp. Watching them grow in understanding is the most rewarding feeling a tutor can have.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I am very easy going and hence I can engage with the students very easily. I am also still a student so I'll be able to understand their struggle in learning new things and better assist them in understanding them, there will also be no distance between us like a student-teacher relationship, therefore effective communication will be maximized. I am very organised, I will revise the materials and prepare any additional materials before tutoring any students, so I won't be unprepared.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I believe the most important thing a tutor can do for a student is to find the right method of teaching for each individual student that will enable them to learn at their maximal capacity. There are all sorts of different types of students in the field, it's very unlikely that one strategy will allow them all to understand a concept. Therefore it's important for tutors to investigate in different methods of teaching. Another important thing is to understand the materials, so when a student asks you questions, you'll be able to answer and provide background information on the topic.
