What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
Despite having no experience in tutoring, what I think I would enjoy the most about tutoring is being able to support others learning journey by giving them the knowledge and skills to grow. It is fulfilling to know that my knowledge can make a positive impact by building their confidence on subjects that are hard for them.My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I have never tutored before but I have gone through years of private and public tutoring and had very unique experiences. I believe I can use these experiences well into my tutoring as I fully understand what needs to be done to allow teaching to be successful. For example, as a tutor I would teach beyond what subject is specifically being taught so students can develop intrinsic motivation and understanding on the importance of learning. With this, I would be able to make tutoring a space safe for learners to make mistakes and learn to grow from them, which is essential for students.Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
A tutor should provide students all the academic resources they need for success but additionally, instill values such as discipline, intrinsic motivation and resilience. This ensures students are equipped with the skills that allow for their perception and relationship with learning to become more positive in the long run. Additionally, tutors should be patient and adaptable towards students to meet their learning needs.
