What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I love being able to impart my knowledge and experience with other students, especially seeing their growth compared to before I started tutoring them. I myself never had a tutor growing up so don't know what it's like to be on the other side of it, but can confidently say I'm highly motivated by watching students learn from me and being able to grow my knowledge alongside them.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
Being able to explain a confusing point which most people find puzzling, rather easily.
Being willing to reiterate the same point again and again until they're as confident with it as I am, and can apply that knowledge to real life studies.
Being passionate about learning enough to spend meaningful time teaching and making them learn, rather than trying to make them rote it.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
Other than academics, I believe a tutor can also help build a student's social and behavioral skills, as they spent a large amount of time exercising their brain which can help apply to out-of-studies situations as well.
I also believe tutors model a different way of thinking of things, outside of the traditional school-based curriculum there are other critical thinking skills a tutor can foster for a student.
