What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
What I enjoy most about tutoring is being able to help students in ways that I often wished had been helped. I find it deeply rewarding to be able to use techniques I have learnt as a student - both in high school and now in university - and apply them to make complicated concepts much easier for students to understand.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
As a current university student, I believe one of my key strengths as a tutor is my understanding of how difficult it is to learn unfamiliar concepts and how frustrating it can feel when you don't understand them. Through my experience as a tutor as well as being a student myself, I have developed the ability to break down complex concepts into simpler steps, and use various techniques such as visual aids to help them understand. Furthermore, I understand how important it is to be patient and ensure that the student does not feel overwhelmed or left behind whilst learning these steps.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I believe the most important thing a tutor can do for a student is to be patient. It is crucial to understand that every student learns differently, and to adapt my teaching techniques to their learning styles. Furthermore, it is also important to create a supportive and uplifting environment where they can feel confident in their abilities, which in turn helps enhance their potential as a student.
