What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I love learning complex ideas, and this gives me a passion for helping others to expand their knowledge as well. I really enjoy working through a concept with someone until they go from confusion to understanding, as I get satisfaction from being able to empower the learning of others.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I have strong communication skills which enable me to discuss difficult concepts with students in a clear, helpful way. My strong academic ability also enables me to gain a deep understanding of course content, which further assists me in supporting others in building their understanding. In addition, my friendly disposition and commitment to helping those around me will be key assets for supporting my students in their learning journey.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I think it's vital that a tutor discusses course material in a way which engages the student and resonates with their learning style. This is essential for helping students understand the curriculum, which is a tutor's primary function. However, tutors also act as a key source of secondary support for students outside their class teachers; tutors are an additional person a student could ask questions to, helping students to close knowledge gaps, and tutors can significantly help in reducing stress and anxiety surrounding academics to give students more confidence.
