What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
As a student, i enjoy the way tutoring helps break down the work to properly develop a solid understanding of topics, rather than being rushed through it in an aim to complete the syllabus.
As a "tutor" i genuinely enjoy seeing the way people's faces light up when they finally understand a concept or are able to answer vast problems.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
Im a very patient person, and having worked with many tutors myself and as such gained insight into what teaching methods are most effective. I’ve also come to recognise that every student thinks and learns differently so I’m able to adapt my approach to meet their unique needs. This flexibility helps me find the best ways to support them with their work.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I believe the most important thing a tutor can do is help build a student’s confidence in their work. When students believe in themselves, they’re more likely to engage with the material. Helping them adopt this kind of growth mindset especially in instances relating math where long, complex problems can seem overwhelming, is indefinitely invaluable. If a student feels confident in their ability to break down and tackle the problem, they’re much more likely to make progress and succeed.
