What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I thoroughly enjoy working with other people and being able to pass on knowledge from my studying experiences. As an student who loved attending school, I enjoy tutoring, because it gives me the opportunity to exercise knowledge I am passionate about (for instance, subjects such as math, english and history which I was considerably fond of in school). I consider education to be a privilege, and never take it for granted, even when enacting as a tutor. It is due to this value that I enjoy the process of learning and teaching, because it stands at the core of who I am as an person.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I am a very enthusiastic tutor and always take pride in my students and their progress. For me, their achievements and milestones are just as significant to me as they are to them. Furthermore, I consistently take consideration unto the needs and wants of students. As a tutor, I recognise that not every student has the same learning journey, and always work towards adapting my teaching standards to the needs of the respective student. Dedication would additionally be an evident strength of mine, as I am always keen to work diligently and enable those around to do their best.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

While I consider grades and academic excellence to be a major characteristic tutors should have, I additionally believe that it is extensively important for tutors to enlist students to have faith in themselves academically. Often, although students may be taught principles and content well by their tutor, they may not actually be able to perform well in exams and assessments due to a lack of self-confidence and faith. Henceforth, I believe that as a tutor, it is pivotal to enlist students with both knowledge, but also to provide them encouragement to boost their sense of academic esteem.
