What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

What I enjoy most about tutoring is when you are able to teach a student something they were previously struggling with and see the joy it brings them. As a tutor seeing this gives me a sense of gratification myself as I feel it is my duty to help my students to the best of my abilities.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

My strengths as a tutor are communication and patience. Being so recently a student myself in Year 11 and 12, I understand the struggles and stress associated with not being able to understand material at school. As a tutor, I must have both communication and patience, communication. Communication I feel is the most important skill, as a whilst a tutor must be knowledgeable, they must be able to communicate this knowledge too. Patience too is important as not all students learn the same and it might require different methods or explanations to communicate information, requiring patience.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

The most important thing a tutor can do for a student is being flexible. A tutor must be able to accommodate the strengths and weaknesses of their students, and this means having a wide range of strategies and methods to help students. Tutors must also be able to think on their feet, and be prepared for any queries and questions their students may ask them, requiring flexibility.
