What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I have found it extremely rewarding to play a role in a students academic journey and assist them in building up their confidence to perform better and reach their goals. As a tutor I believe I have the ability to provide a more comfortable and personalised learning environment, which a student may not experience in the classroom, which can play a vital role in allowing students to step out of their comfort zone to explore new learning methods and techniques and so that we are able to best work toward their academic goals.My Strengths as Tutor 💪
As a tutor I believe my strength lies in my own experiences as a student and the lessons I learnt while preparing for the HSC, which have only increased my ability to connect with and understand each students individual needs with patience and empathy. From experience in private tutoring students, I have been able to observe the benefit of creating a learning environment that caters to each students personal learning needs and ensures the student is able to ask questions and express their thoughts aloud, accelerating their progress and allowing us to achieve the nest outcomes.Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
As a tutor I think it's extremely important to create a comfortable learning environment that allows the student to raise any questions and concerns, so that we are able to meet their personal needs and goals and achieve the academic outcomes and objectives they are seeking. About Sapna
Hi! My name is Sapna Muhunthan and I graduated from Baulkham Hills High School in 2024 and am now studying at the University of Sydney. During the senior years of highschool my interest in learning grew significantly because I was able to discover the study techniques that would allow me to significantly improve my academic performance. During year 12 I really enjoyed maths advanced and PDHPE, which motivated me to utilise my personal study skills to optimise results in these subjects. As a tutor I would love to be able to pass on knowledge and skills learnt from my own experiences in high school and provide students with a safe space to discover the learning methods best suited to them, so that we can create positive progress.
My Experience
I have experience in private tutoring that has allowed me to understand the beneficial role tutors are able to play in allowing students to feel confident in their abilities and motivating them to strive for their goals. By creating a comfortable and patient environment, I believe students are given the opportunity to flourish in their academic journey, as they will become more comfortable expressing their thoughts aloud and asking questions.
My Skills
Through my experiences in extra curricular activities, volunteer work and working in a fast paced customer service environment, I have been able to grow and develop my problem-solving, communication and time management skills. I believe these skills have been extremely useful in beginning my journey as a tutor, as it allows me to develop a strong connection with each student that allows us to ensure we are effectively working towards their academic goals. I look forward to furthering these skills as I continue to learn and gain experience in assisting students improve and progress academically.
