What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I love seeing kids being able to understand when something is explained to them, and using what is taught to perform in tests. I believe any student can do well if they try their best, so seeing that happen is a rewarding experience.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

My strengths include being able to connect on a deeper level with the student, since I am still young I can understand most of what they struggle with. As well as a 'not give up attitude', I am determined to help them to learn the best they can. I believe I can also offer social support through empathy and understanding, and can adjust my teaching based on the student.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

The most important thing is to not only be educational support for the student but also moral support as they may have stress from their parents to do well in school or not get the praise they deserve, which they can get through tutoring. I also believe a good tutor knows in depth what they teach, meaning I can convey my experience and knowledge to a greater extent.

About Suhaan

Strong educational background

Suhaan is currently striving for a double degree at university, and did exceptionally well in all his subjects in school, scoring 80% or higher in most of his year 11 SACs, and getting As in most his final exams for year 12. He also displays a passion for mathematics and loves to learn as much as possible to further benefit himself.

Teaching experience

While having no formal teaching experience, Suhaan is great teacher, and has passed down skills to many others in various different places. For example, being a volunteer in a youth ministry for an extended period of time has granted him opportunities to demonstrate to and train others in areas which he is proficient in, such as ushering, and setting and packing up. This translates well into the tutoring domain, as his educational skills and techniques can be passed on to his clients.

Christ centered values

Suhaan's beliefs and values are completely aligned with what Jesus would do in any situation. This means that whatever the circumstance, he does his best to remain calm, and gentle toward everyone, which can reflect well on a client who is stressed or is feeling overwhelmed.
