What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I enjoy having the opportunity to help strengthen a student's understanding in specific topics or the subject as a whole. I also find it fulfilling when students are eventually able to grasp topics they once found difficult, especially fulfilling if I can help build their passion for the subject.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
Strong organisational skills and the flexibility to ensure that the students will have the most beneficial lessons (whether they prefer following the syllabus or having lessons tailored to their weaknesses/strengths). I also believe I have strong knowledge in stem subjects (maths and science) as reflected in my academic marks, which I can use to help students gain a deeper understanding of topics.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I consider building a student's confidence and possibly interest in the subject taught to be the most important. I believe confidence/ passion in a subject will translate well into their academic marks.

Still confuses LCM and HCF sometimes (requires some revisiting in the future so he retains the knowledge) Being quicker at times tables, so he won't have to think about these when finding equivalent fractions/LCM, etc.

Understanding the steps to comparing fractions, adding/subtracting fractions and multiplying/dividing Can work with larger/ > complex calculations using the same steps
Finding equivalent fractions (still is a little slow due to times tables not being as strong) Trying to find the LOWEST common denominator to make calculations quicker (e.g. the LCM of 9 and 3 is 9 and not 27)

Solving for x when there are many operations involved (more practice required) Breaking down worded questions / more complex questions by herself (but improving)
