What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I enjoy working with students individually to help them target problems or confusing topics in a space where there is no fear of asking questions. I used to struggle with such fears as a student. I found it extremely beneficial to develop a rapport with someone where I could openly clarify questions to develop my understanding. With tutoring, I enjoy explaining concepts to students in new ways so that they understand well. I also enjoy tutoring because it's a way to rediscover and delve into concepts I enjoyed in school; it allows me to see concepts fresh.My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I'm able to deconstruct complex concepts into simpler chunks so that it's easier to comprehend through different mediums (whether it be through examples or analogies). I'm able to adapt my way of teaching to suit the student and their goals and can teach with the expectations and goals of the students/parents in mind. As a tutor, I put in the effort to understand my student's goals and personalities so that I can create a comfortable environment.
