What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I love helping people understand a concept or problem that they previously didn't. I personally know the wonderful feeling of finally grasping a topic, and I would like to aid other students feel this joy in learning as well.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

My main strength is my patience. With siblings, peers, and myself, I have had many instances to practice calmly and clearly explaining difficult concepts, and working through frustrating problems. I am always able to articulate my answers to others in a way that helps them to see the problem in a different perspective, and achieve understanding. I am also a cheerful and optimistic person, which I believe is necessary as a tutor to help others learn in a positive environment, and learn to love studying, rather than feeling too much pressure.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

The most important thing that a tutor can do for a student is teach them so that after a lesson, the student walks away not with just a simple, one-word answer to a question, but with a newfound, full understanding of the topic they were unsure about. A tutor provides a positive, engaging and safe environment for a student to develop a love for what they learn, and a passion to work for better results. As a tutor, I hope to make sure that a student not only achieves successful results, but also a healthy relationship with studying.
