What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy taking on new challenges and obstacles in life, so tutoring gives me a sense of satisfaction as I help my students overcome their own hurdles.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I recently graduated with an ATAR of 96.75, excelling in maths and physics courses. Having just completed these subjects, the concepts are still fresh in my mind, allowing me to understand and explain them as if I were taught them yesterday.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I believe tutoring is about teaching students to learn independently and truly understand concepts, rather than simply memorising them, giving my student the confidence and knowledge needed to succeed academically.

About Tekebo

Neurodiverse Teaching

My younger brother is neurodiverse and I have assisted in homeschooling him through his math and science subjects, helping him understand concepts that his regular teachers struggled to explain. Through this experience, I have learnt to adapt my teaching strategies for all my students and their unique ways of learning.

Empathy and Compassion

I recently had a serious injury that lead to multiple spinal fractures and a broken neck, this was during my second semester of year 12 and right before all my major exams. Though I had this injury, my school provided minimal support for me and it forced me to try much harder then everyone else to achieve my results. This has given me empathy for students in similar situations and has made me understand how stressful learning can be.
