What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

As a tutor, I enjoy helping students build their confidence to tackle math questions that they may initially find intimidating. It is truly a rewarding experience to help them realise that they are capable of achieving their mathematical goals.

My strengths lie in providing personalized explanations and adapting my teaching skills to the student's learning style. I also have experience in developing resources and fun activities that help to reinforce the concepts that my students may find challenging.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I feel that the most important skill for a tutor is creating and maintaining an environment that allows a student to feel comfortable with verbalizing their thoughts and questions during tutoring sessions. In addition, it is also important for a tutor to be able to share feedback with a student or their parent(s) in a tactful manner. It is also equally important for a tutor to be able receive feedback on their teaching skills to ensure that they are providing the most effective and supportive learning experience for the student.
