What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I most enjoy seeing students' confidence grow as they grasp concepts they previously struggled with. Having taken challenging subjects, I understand how rewarding it feels when complex topics finally click. I find great satisfaction in breaking down difficult concepts into manageable steps and watching students progress from feeling overwhelmed to feeling capable and empowered in their learning journey.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I feel that one of my strengths as a tutor is that I am able to explain complex concepts in clear, relatable ways, drawing from my experience with advanced IB coursework. I also have patience and empathy in understanding each student's unique learning style and challenges. I also possess strong organizational skills developed through managing my own rigorous academic schedule.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I believe the most important things a tutor can do for a student extend beyond just teaching subject matter. Building student confidence by celebrating small victories and progress along the way is crucial, as it helps maintain motivation and engagement. I feel it is important to create a supportive environment where students feel safe making mistakes is essential for learning, as it encourages them to take risks and engage more deeply with the material.
