What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I would most enjoy encouraging curiosity through tutoring, fostering a love for learning which is inspiring. Building confidence amongst students is something I would also enjoy as seeing learners become more confident in their abilities and take pride in their progress is uplifting.

My Strengths as Tutor πŸ’ͺ

My strengths as a tutor would be my passion for teaching, as someone who frequently babysits and is hoping for a career in teaching I believe that I can bring passion into being a tutor. Another strength would be subject expertise in English, as it is a subject I enjoyed the most in school. My communication skills are also another strength of mine as a tutor as babysitting has taught me when I need to adjust my communication style based on the student’s age and/or learning style.

Most important things I can do for a student πŸ…

I believe that the most important thing a tutor can do for a student is to provide a space where the student feels comfortable enough to be able to share what they may need assistance in. As someone who was tutored throughout most of their later high school years I know how important it is to have a tutor who you are not afraid of asking for help.
