I also value building strong connections with my students, creating a supportive environment where they feel encouraged to learn. My Strengths as Tutor 💪

My strengths as a tutor include customizing lesson plans to meet each student’s needs and incorporating games and fun activities to make learning enjoyable. I am adaptable, able to adjust teaching methods to suit different learning styles, and skilled at explaining complicated concepts clearly. My patience and empathy help me support students at their own pace, boosting their confidence and motivation. Additionally, I regularly assess progress, provide constructive feedback, and collaborate with parents to ensure consistent support.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

The most important things I can do for a student are to listen to their concerns and understand their unique challenges. By building trust and a positive rapport, I can create an environment where they feel comfortable asking questions and expressing themselves. My role as a tutor is to encourage critical thinking, foster independence, and equip students with effective study techniques they can use beyond our lessons. I believe in celebrating small victories to keep students motivated and reinforcing their self-belief. Ultimately, my goal is to empower them to take ownership of their learning and strive for continuous improvement.

About Erfana

A Passionate Psychology Student with a Love for Teaching

I am a psychology student currently pursuing my bachelor’s degree, with a strong passion for understanding human behaviour and helping others reach their potential. My academic journey began in Malaysia, where I developed a deep app reaction for education, a value instilled in me by my family. Tutoring has been an important part of my life, allowing me to combine my love for learning and teaching. I’ve had the privilege of working with students aged 5–17 in both Malaysia and Australia, customising lessons to cater to each students needs and learning styles. My background in psychology complements my teaching, as it enables me to empathise with students, support their personal development, and help them overcome academic challenges through effective communication and customised strategies.

An Experienced Educator Committed to Making a Difference

With experience teaching a classroom of 35 students in Malaysia, I have sharpen my skills in managing various learners while creating an engaging and inclusive learning environment. Whether teaching large groups or one-on-one sessions, I focus on making lessons enjoyable and meaningful by incorporating games and activities that resonate with students. My ability to adapt to various educational systems and cultural contexts has enriched my teaching methods and deepened my understanding of student needs across different age groups and backgrounds.

A Multilingual Educator with a Global Perspective

Being multilingual has always been a source of pride and strength for me. I initially learned German at a language centre and later advanced to a B1 level through studies in college and university. I am fluent in English, Malay, and German, and I can also understand Tamil, Hindi, and Urdu. This linguistic versatility enables me to connect with a diverse range of students and families. It has been invaluable in building strong relationships with my students and their parents, fostering a supportive and collaborative learning environment.
