What do I enjoy most about tutoring? šŸ˜

What I enjoy most about tutoring is the opportunity to make a difference in students' lives. Seeing them grasp a difficult concept they've been struggling on a while and watching their confidence slowly grow as their knowledge does is incredibly rewarding. Knowing I had an impact, no matter the size, on my students' learning journey makes tutoring very fulfilling.

My Strengths as Tutor šŸ’Ŗ

With 4+ commercial tutoring experience, my strongest skills include patience, adaptability, and clear communication. I excel at breaking down complex topics into terms, and simple steps that my students can understand, no matter how long this may take. I ensure everything I teach is incredibly tailored to the student's learning style, skill level and interests. Iā€™m also supportive and encouraging, developing a comfortable environment where students can freely ask questions. I keep my students motivated so they are able to try their best.

Most important things I can do for a student šŸ…

One of the most important things a tutor can do is paying attention. By doing so, a tutor can clearly identify where they are struggling, and then provided catered guidance as a response to that. It can also pinpoint a student's specific learning style, allowing further tailoring of sessions to mimic that. Further, it generally just shows the student that tutors value them, fostering a more trusting, positive relationship between the two. Encouraging students constantly is also makes for a 'better' tutor. This builds confidence, and motivation to continually try despite setbacks.
