What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

The most rewarding and enjoyable aspect of tutoring is witnessing the "aha" moment. It is incredibly fulfilling to see everything fall into place in the student's mind. I love that fact that I get to be a part of their road to academic success.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I believe my greatest strength lies in my ability to break down complex concepts into easily understandable terms, often times with a touch of humour. By making complex topics enjoyable, simple and relatable, this method helps students to retain information more effectively and with a greater ability to recall. I've always been inspired by Richard Feynman's philosophy of explaining complex ideas simply. He famously said, "If you can't explain an idea to a 5-year-old, you don't understand it well enough." I try to apply this principle to my tutoring, making it my greatest strength.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

One of the most important things a tutor can do is to create a friendly and supportive learning environment, which makes students feel comfortable and at ease rather than intimidated. I believe that this can help them overcome any anxieties they may have and maximise their learning potential. Additionally, by being supportive and understanding, you as a tutor, can instil a sense of confidence in your students, allowing them to tackle challenges even outside the classroom.
