What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
For me, it is the happiness of students when they finally understand a concept or ask a question. Having some experience helping my classmates in mathematics, I realise that it brings me lots of joy when I can explain a concept that they haven't understood or show them the path to the answer to questions because I feel like I have become helpful to them. I also enjoy changing the stereotypes about mathematics. Lots of people may find maths uninteresting, but when I see students understand maths and like it, I'm very happy because I'm able to slowly change the stigma around maths.My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I think that my strength as a tutor is my ability to rationalise a concept to students. This is because of my experience in self-studying, where I essentially have to teach myself a concept. It help me understand concepts in a logical way where im abled to explain a concept in various ways. I think that the most important thing a tutor can do is to engage students. This is because for me no matter how good of a tutor you can be if students dont engage then you cant force them to learn.
