What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

The aspect of tutoring that I enjoy the most is the positive educational impact that I have on my students. Working together with them and finding strategies to enable and empower them in a way that enhances their academic performances is challenging but uniquely rewarding and seeing their smiles and hearing their words of gratitude after exams is always a special moment. In my perspective, tutoring is emotionally rewarding and knowing that I had a positive impact on a student which improves their school experience will always be the most enjoyable thing about tutoring.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

2 of my biggest strengths that I have include my communication skills and compassion. My ability to convey difficult and unintuitive concepts in a concise way that fits a student's preferred way of learning has made it so that my students have a strong grasp of the underlying fundamentals of a certain topics. My compassion has allowed me to connect with my students in a way that makes them feel at ease when being tutored, calm when facing challenging topics and confident when approaching exams.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

The most important aspect as a tutor is to listen to the student. As a tutor, your job is to provide tailored education and guidance unique to the student themselves in a way that a teacher cannot. Part of being a tutor is speaking, but an often neglected aspect of tutoring is listening to the student's feedback and frustrations which will inform you on how to communicate with your students. Listening to your students and addressing their concerns is the best way to create a bond with them that will make them enjoy being tutored by you.
