What do I enjoy most about tutoring? π
I most enjoy being able to personally contribute to the development and study of another individual. I find it extremely rewarding to be able to observe the improvements of my tutees in real time.
My Strengths as Tutor πͺ
My strengths as a tutor lie in my ability to reduce complex concepts down to a simplistic and digestible manner. I feel that I am confidently able to identify when my tutee is struggling with a particular concept and apply my knowledge to my best to find an easier manner to explain it.
Most important things I can do for a student π
The most important things a tutor can do include being patient with the student. Each student is unique and may be fast or slow in adapting to unfamiliar concepts and a key skill necessary is to be able to account for these disparities and change pace of learning in accordance to the individual students needsβ. Additionally, a tutor can also try and connect with the student as a static and stiff relationship with a tutee may result in fragmented learning and not fully paying attention. Establishing rapport and a connection with a tutee is necessary in tutoring.
