What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I currently work as a part-time tutor at a school, and what I enjoy most is helping students see math as approachable and understandable. It's incredibly rewarding to witness students who once felt frustrated or disliked math grow in confidence. Often, their challenges stem from not having math explained in a way that resonates with them. As they gain clarity, they begin to recognize math’s relevance in various careers, which further enhances their confidence and excitement about future opportunities.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

Being closer in age to my students has allowed me to connect with them more easily. Many of my hobbies, like my interest in technology and social media, align with theirs, helping me understand their language and interests. This connection has fostered genuine enthusiasm for learning, even surprising some teachers with the positive shift in students’ attitudes toward math. I’m patient, always willing to explain concepts as many times as needed, and I use my tech skills to make lessons more engaging and relatable.

In my current role, I focus on supporting students with significantly low math skills. My primary goal is to make math approachable while building their confidence. Once they feel capable, they begin solving problems independently and become more open to tackling new challenges in math without hesitation.
