What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I haven't done any professional tutoring before, only the small teaching moments with students in my class. However, I think that I would enjoy seeing the gradual improvements in the students that I tutor. As an academic student, I know how hard it can be to learn new, complex ideas. To be that help for someone else would probably be the most gratifying thing as I know I'm making a difference in someone's study life and facilitating their academic experience to make learning more enjoyable for them. In my opinion, I believe that learning should be made into a fun experience rather than a chore

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I am a very patient person and can take the time to find different ways to teach different students as I recognise that not every method of teaching works for every child. I love organising and planning out study schedules, therefore, I think I would be great at sorting out tutoring plans as it is something I naturally enjoy doing. I have a strong work ethic, am attentive to details and always try to be a very uplifting and encouraging person. I am a great listener and would love to have a job where I can assist a young student to fulfil their maximum potential.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

The most important thing a tutor can do is to find the best ways to help students learn. At the end of the day, tutors aren't there to teach students everything, but to assist them in their learning journey so that eventually, the students can feel confident enough in their knowledge to answer questions. Building confidence in young people is one of the most important things and I think that tutoring provides a really lovely opportunity to get to know a student and find the best way to assist them in their studying and build those foundational learning skills needed for life.
