I enjoy getting to see the kids I work with grow and become more confident in their own abilities. I always strive to help my students achieve their goals, whether it be through improved grades or stronger content understanding, so as to boost their skills and self-confidence. My strongest traits as a tutor come in the form of my high-achieving, dedicated approach to schooling and my strong communication skills. A disciplined study regiment has allowed me to grow extensively in all subject areas and achieve strong marks to reflect my attitude. This dedication and growth will allow me to understand paths that can be taken by students to improve themselves and gives me both the content and writing skills needed to effectively assess and develop one’s needs. As a role model and tutor, the most important thing they can do is ensure a student feels comfortable asking any and all questions about their learning so as to avoid gaps in knowledge and other issues. It is critical the tutor develops an environment that makes the student feel comfortable to ask any and all questions they have as this will allow greater depth of understanding for the student and generally improve their comfort during the sessions.
