What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I enjoy working with children and supporting them to get through a difficult subject by breaking their anxiety and dislike towards it. The fulfillment at the end of the day, having made a difference, and having inspired someone is what I enjoy most about tutoring. Being able to share what you know is an opportunity, and being able to create an impact is a privilege.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I have always been able to connect with the students, understand their unique learning styles, and cater to those. The feedback that I have received throughout my tutoring career, as well as during my professional career where coaching was a primary job role, was that I made the complicated lessons easier and relatable with practical examples and different explanation techniques. Also, I took e-Education as a module in my Bachelors where I was exposed to Learning Theories, Instructional Design, etc. giving me an understanding of an educator's and learners' point of view theoretically as well.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
Instilling confidence in them - especially when it comes to subjects like Math, students have kind of been programmed to think of it as a difficult subject and to fear it. Breaking those stereotypes, and making sure the correct resources are accessible for them to face the content with self-confidence can make a big difference in their lives in the long term.
