What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I think my favourite part about tutoring is the feeling of success you get when your student finally understands that difficult concept you've been working on for weeks, or being able to see the results of your effort through their increased confidence and improved marks. It truly makes me feel motivated to keep going and is such a great reminder that I really am making a difference in someone's academic journey.My Strengths as Tutor 💪
Organisation, conscientiousness and goal-orientation are some of my most dominant traits, especially as someone who is studying full-time at university in not one but two very different fields; psychology and data science. However, I would say my main strength is my ability to empathise with the students and understand that the tutoring experience only works with multiple perspectives. Not only do I have experience tutoring but I have been on the receiving end and know what it is I would want to gain from the experience.Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I think the most important thing I can do for my students is give them the confidence and self-esteem they need to improve in not just the subjects I'm tutoring but in their academic career as a whole. Every student is different and will require different teaching methods, but every student deserves to feel like they are capable of continuing their learning independent of me or their teachers.
