What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

Education is a very demanding field but in my opinion, it is one of the most highly rewarding. I absolutely love those moments when you can tell something has "clicked" in a student's head and they finally understand a challenging concept. That indescribable satisfaction of seeing objectively how far a student has progressed is such an amazing feeling.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I'm a very patient and understanding person with ample experience working with students who have additional needs. Having completed my Certificate IV in Education Support, along with lifelong experience with individuals with special needs, I am well-versed in classroom management and non-traditional learning strategies. I also have experience teaching students with low English proficiency, including EAL learners, both in Australia and abroad. Working with bright students who have a limited vocabulary has challenged me to refine my teaching methods so that students receive an adequate education

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

Building rapport and a positive classroom environment. In my experience, the quickest and most effective way to see results in a tutoring setting is by ensuring that the student genuinely wants to be there; otherwise, they won’t put any effort into their learning. Many of the students who attend extracurricular tutoring sessions face significant external pressure to perform highly, which often leads to burnout. I, however, prefer to establish a strong relationship so that these students are intrinsically motivated to apply themselves to the best of their ability.
