What do I enjoy most about tutoring? ๐Ÿ˜

While I am looking forward to hanging out with the adults once I'm out in the engineering workforce, I just think it'd be really cool to impart some of my experiences towards the younger generation until then.

My Strengths as Tutor ๐Ÿ’ช

I'd like to think that I'm very patient person. As someone that's been on all ends of the academic spectrum (both on the top and on the bottom), I feel like I have what it takes to empathize with students from all walks of life. For the better part of a year, I've also been teaching and aiding my parents on the construction of their new home back in the Philippines. So, while I don't have much formal tutoring experience, I'd like to think that I'm not entirely clueless in that regard. At least, that's what I tell myself.

Most important things I can do for a student ๐Ÿ…

While I think it's important to assist students from an academic standpoint, I also think it's important for tutors to help students develop a sense of purpose in their studies. Teaching students to direct their motivations towards their goals, rather than solely their grades, can be just as important for their future as anything a tutor can teach, in my opinion.
