What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I love working with kids, and as I have a little brother I've also helped tutor in math, I find it an incredibly awarding experience to continue help with other students.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I think my greatest strength is patience. I understand the difficulty for kids with math, how the perceive it, and the way it can be intimidating to also have tutoring sessions with a stranger. Hence, by understanding their perspective and having patience with them to opening up to perceive what I teach, and adjusting strategies to get through to them, I feel it would be strength in my tutoring style.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

Being openly communicative with the student. Drawing from personal experience, I found lots of tutors that rushed me to answer their questions, would just give me the answer, or were inflexible in their teachings style. By openly communicating with the student, asking them if they really understand what I've explained, or whats confusing them when figuring out the answer, I feel I can maximize their benefit from the session.
